Dr Floriano Marchetti is an Associate Professor of Clinical Surgery at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. A faculty member in the Division of Colon and Rectal Surgery since 2002. Dr Marchetti received his undergraduate degree from Liceo Scientifico B Rosetti University in Italy. He then attended University of Bologna where he obtained his Doctor in Medicine and Surgery degree and graduated Summa Cum Laude. Dr Marchetti spent fourteen months as a Research Fellow in the Department of Colorectal Surgery at Cleveland Clinic Florida and returned to Bologna, Italy to complete his General Surgery Residency at S Orsola Hospital, University of Bologna inn2003.
