About

A licensed therapist with over 20 years experience in private practice. I will be honest with you, and help you successfully work through the issues that brought you to my office. Areas of specialty include depression, anxiety, relationship problems, anger management, PTSD, and ADD. I work with adults, adolescence, and children. In fact many of my referrals come directly from School counselors. My Facebook page is Family Answer Man. This site allows you to ask any questions about parenting relationships or children, and they will be answered on the page, free of charge. Use the message option, and your name will remain anonymous when your question is posted along with the response. This service is FREE, but make sure to "like" Family Answer Man on Facebook to receive all of the posts. To schedule an appointment, contact the office at 951-272-8304 Telephone coaching consultations are also available. Please visit the website, familyanswerman.com for other free resources, including prerecorded messages on a variety of topics including, parenting, temper tantrums, sexting, and forgiving others. There is also information about my book, Respect Your Children, A practical guide to effective parenting. Some information about me: My childhood was spent mostly in poverty. I was a victim of abuse, and lost my father when I was sixteen. I started working at the age of 13 to help support my family, and was told that I was going to be a dropout, and "amount to nothing" by many teachers and principals. I attended in excess of twenty schools, often not even remembering what state I was in. There was virtually no adult guidance through my childhood and teen tears, as a result I made a lot of poor choices. When I became an adult, I decided that I didn't want to pass this kind of life on to my children. I didn't, and they've all become quite successful. I have seen these kinds of positive changes occur in parents, teens, and kids, and even hard core gang members in juvenile hall that I've worked with. I know that we can't change the past, but we don't have to repeat it either.
