This is a beautiful example of having a drought friendly yard instead of a grass lawn. This has decomposed granite that hardens so its perfectly safe to walk on and a beautiful flat stone walk way towards the entrance to the home. With a mixture of agaves and beautiful perennials like mums, salvias, and kangaroo paws.
This planter was grass before we converted into half planter half grass, by using a mow curb.
This feng shui back yard has two different color deco gravel, to separate it from each other we used a concrete mow curb. We also did a 4 foot wide walk way around the gravel made out of decomposed gravel.

This is a dry riverbed that at the starting point theirs a beautiful view and ends at a pair of wooden raised planters
