Herman B. Kleinbaum, MD, is board certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine. He earned his medical degree from Stony Brook University School of Medicine and completed internships at New York Medical College and Westchester County Medical Center, where he stayed on to serve his residency. He returned to New York Medical College to complete his fellowship in gastroenterology. Dr. Kleinbaum has been the recipient of several honors, including the Physician’s Recognition Award from the American Medical Association and the Dolores Rosa Scholarship Award for Academic Excellence. He has been published in medical journals including Geriatrics and Cardiovascular Report and Review.Dr. Kleinbaum is a member of the American Medical Association, American Society of Internal Medicine, American College of Gastroenterology, Medical Society of the State of New York, and American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. He serves as a diplomat for the National Board of Medical Examiners and as an associate of the American College of Physicians.
