Upon arrival I received the care and compassion that I needed to begin this journey. All the staff were extremely polite. This experience has proven to be a lifesaver. It felt like more of a home setting and not an institution! I would recommend Serenity too anyone that has an addiction controlling there life.

My time at Serenity Acres was great because of many different things. They have changed my whole outlook on life in many different ways. The staff and my counselors have helped me out so much. They made me realize that I can do this not just for my son but for my own good.

The staff at Serenity Acres were great, and it was a great environment to figure my life out and what I wanted to do with it. I definitely had a spiritual awakening here and gained a purpose in my life. My treatment made me confident in what I believed in, and helped me learn to love myself. My counselors helped me work through things, and pushed me to talk about things I didn’t want to talk about but needed to.

My spiritual figure has improved dramatically since my stay at Serenity Acres. My counselor had very good knowledge on the topic of recovery, and displays great personal strength on a daily basis.

Serenity Acres provides their clients with the tools and education to help addicts cope and stay sober in the outside world. Treatment is tailored to the individual. Serenity gave me my first taste of sobriety and reintroduced me to the 12 step program which I had tried briefly and abandoned before. I went from 0% to 80% acceptance of a higher power in my recovery. I am still not 100% but I am willing to give it a shot thanks to Serenity.
