Dr. Joseph Treadwell has previously been selected as “Podiatrist of the Year” for his service, leadership and contribution to the advancement of foot and ankle medicine and surgery. He is a governor appointee to the Connecticut Board of Examiners in Podiatry. His areas of expertise include adult revisional and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, trauma and pediatric foot and ankle disorders. Dr. Treadwell is one of the few surgeons in the country that performs small joint arthroscopy of the foot preventing the need for large incisions. Dr. Treadwell sports medicine background asists him in treating athletes of all levels.
