Dr. Kapoor’s guiding principles are grounded in understanding, compassion, and empathy. He believes that the key to change is increasing self-awareness through presence. In his practice, he utilizes both medication management and therapy to help patients heal, grow, and optimize their lives, allowing them to live to their fullest potential. Dr. Kapoor’s inspiration to work in mental health stemmed from the curiosity and desire to learn about the human condition, our place in the world, and ways to decrease suffering. He’s been told that he’s a “hippie at heart” by those he’s worked with and has an adventurer’s spirit. Outside of work, Dr. Kapoor enjoys backpacking, meditating, practicing yoga and Muay Thai, and traveling.
