The Good Neighbor Next Door Program allows Firefighters, Teachers, Law Enforcement Officers and EMT’s to purchase a qualified HUD property at a 50% discount from the current appraised value. For example, if the home has an appraised value of $150,000 then eligible candidates can buy it for $75,000.
