Southern Surgical’s Jonathan L. Skinner, M.D. is Board Certified General Surgeon who has been serving the Tri-State area for over 15 years. He continues to serve patients at Southeast Alabama Medical Center and Dothan Surgery Center. Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner, Teri Colquett brings vast expertise to the Southern Surgical Team. Teri is high skilled in cancer treatment, colostomy care and ELNEC (end-of-life care).

Southern Surgical and Dr. Skinner brought the da Vinci Robotic technology to Southern Alabama and the Dothan area for general surgical procedures. And, are currently offering Robotic Surgery for the following: Gallbladder Surgery, Colectomies (Colon Surgery), Gastrostomies (Stomach Surgery) and Antireflux (“Heartburn”) Surgery.
