I have had extensive training in psychology and medicine. I graduated Pomona college with honors in 1991 a majoring in psychology. I then studied medicine at the Mayo Clinic. I continued my training at the Menninger Clinic (part of Baylor medical school).
I strive to help my patients find a combination of medication, cognitive retraining, as well as diet, exercise and relaxation to manage their emotional and neurological challenges. I am warm and nuturing but also challenge my patients to think about problems differently. I believe that not all pain helps you grow but rarely does progress happen without discomfort.
I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, obsessive compulsive issues as well as autism.
