Shag-Rug-La has been in business since the summer of 1968. Started by Dewey and Arlene Whitehead and their five children, Shag-Rug-La specialized in floor and window coverings.
Originally located at the corner of 3500 South and 3700 West, Shag-Rug-La was a trusted name in West Valley City, serving residents and businesses throughout the Salt Lake Valley for 40 years.
In 2007, Shag-Rug-La relocated to South Jordan. In 2014, to Midvale, Utah and most recently to Draper, Utah in 2023.
Shag-Rug-La has remained family-owned and operated for over 50 years. Our customers, new and existing, have always been our number one priority.
