We are a team of individuals who are passionate about our work.
It is seen in how we design a custom kitchen or bath, how we incorporate every cost saving advantage that we have and how we build a uniquely custom piece in our own shop and hand pick every piece of wood for its best placement.

But what you will most appreciate, is how we follow through with first rate service all of the way through a project’s completion.

The experience of our team is diverse & accomplished. We have been living and working in Durango since 1984, but we’ve also paid our dues working on both coasts, in the metropolitan areas of Seattle and New York. We have worked in both small custom shops and large AWI (Architectural Woodworking Institute) shops, building cabinets and furnishings for all types of homes and lifestyles. We have also built our own homes and realize the joys and hardships of that undertaking as well.

As a team of cabinetry professionals, we bring not only our love of wood and artistic design to each project but also our love for family life, fine cooking and quality living spaces, into each one of our custom kitchen, bath and furniture projects.

Bring us your ideas.
You have an idea for something crafted in wood. A new kitchen, bath or a piece of furniture. It could be anything.

Bring us your ideas, along with anything that helps you explain what you are looking for. (Houzz.com, Pinterest, idea books or magazine clippings). Just talking it through and drawing it up will also work. We will examine appliance and plumbing selections, wood species, style, finish colors and functionality. The incorporation of other elements such as metal work or glass can be brought into play as well.

We will discuss them together and bring your ideas and our experience together for a design that functions with practicality and beauty. We will come up with a realistic schedule for completion and start building.

Delivery and installation is performed with cooperation towards your general contractor and all other sub-contractors.
You will review our collaborative work and make sure that on completion, it meets your expectations.

From design to install.
Design

There may be a design fee ranging from 300.00 to 1,500.00 depending on the situation and scope of design work. It includes meetings in our showroom, meetings on site, measurement verification, cabinet specifications and multiple designs, as ideas evolve and take shape. The fee rarely covers our cost in design, but it does represent a commitment to our design team, of whom you will play an important part.

This fee is credited to the overall cabinetry cost once we have secured the cabinetry production work. Designing your cabinetry takes careful thought, education and spatial creativity. You will find that there are typically a few versions of your cabinetry drawn until you find your ideal design.

Bring your interior designer! We love working with them and will balance our design costs with their involvement.

Multiple bids and quotes.

“Apples to Apples”. How do you know which apple is the best apple for you? And who’s running the fruit stand? We only quote cabinetry that we would want in our homes, and then back it with high quality service, which we appreciate as well. So we suggest, early in your selection process, that you come in and meet our friendly team, see your choices in our showroom, view our cabinet shop and see a current project under construction.

Cabinetry

The actual cabinetry product. This will depend on your selections. Wood species, finish and hardware selections will all affect the cost. We will guide you through choices based on your expectations of cost. It’s not hard to achieve a beautiful cabinet project with affordable choices.

Installation

Installation typically runs from 11% to 13% of the cabinet cost. We supervise all of our cabinet installations and back them up with our cabinet shop for modifications, if needed. Sometimes things change midstream and walls or windows move, etc. We can deal with it. We use installation experts, with whom we have extensive experience and shared portfolios.
