AWS ELECTRIC, LLC is a family owned & operated company based in Durham, CT! Andrew Scheff is the owner and operator of AWS ELECTRIC, LLC with 12+ years of experience as an Electrician. He started his career in 2008 attending New England Technical Institute (formerly Baran Institute of Technology) for a year long intensive program. Andrew worked diligently and graduated with high honors at the top of his class. Shortly after graduating, Andrew began his apprenticeship with Wayne J. Griffin Electric, Inc - a large electrical company with several locations along the east coat. WJGEI specializes in commercial and industrial work such as schools, waste water treatment facilities, hospitals/medical centers, municipal buildings, and much more. For the first 4 years with WJGEI, Andrew worked full time while also attending their nationally accredited Apprenticeship training program every Saturday. In 2013, Andrew passed hi Connecticut E-2 exam and became a licenced journeyman. In 2016, he passed his Massachusetts E-2 exam becoming licenced there as well. In 2017, Andrew became a certified Master Electrician in Connecticut after passing the Connecticut E-1 electrical exam. Andrew was a valued member of the Wayne J. Griffin Electric Inc. team for 10 years. As his knowledge and experience grew, Andrew began taking on many independent residential and commercial projects working for himself and in 2018 established AWS Electric, LLC. In 2019, Andrew took a take a leap a faith and went into working for himself full time. He truly loves making people happy by assisting with their electrical projects and needs. He takes great pride in his work; having a happy and satisfied customer is what drives him!
