Caring House is a nonprofit organization providing comfortable, supportive, and affordable housing to Duke Cancer Institute adult outpatients and their caregivers. Located in Duke Forest at 2625 Pickett Road, it is a 12,900 square foot home that has 18 private rooms, each with a private bath, phone, and television. Common areas include a fully equipped community kitchen, great room, library, dining room, laundry room, screened-in porch, patio, and koi pond. Guests are encouraged to bring their caregivers during their stay. Caring House offers rooms at a low cost of $45 per night. They also offer activities available for no additional cost to guests, including healing arts programs, oncological massage, music therapy, yoga, and more!
