The Hasbro Children's Hospital Pediatric Pulmonology specialists provide evaluation and treatment to children with a range of acute and chronic respiratory conditions-from asthma to vocal cord dysfunction, including highly specialized programs such as the Cystic Fibrosis Center and the Ventilator Integration Program. After a comprehensive evaluation, your child's treatment team may conduct or arrange for allergy tests, exercise challenge test, flexible bronchoscopy, pulmonary function test or sleep study. We are the only program in the region with equipment specially calibrated to pediatric patients, and staff specially trained to conduct pulmonary testing on children and to read and interpret pediatric findings.
