Born in Lansing, Kara Hoisington, D.O., F.A.C.O.I., F.A.C.E., earned her medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2000. She completed her residency in internal medicine at Ingham Regional Medical Center and fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism at Mt.
