I have always been interested in taking care of people and knew I wanted to focus on pediatrics. I as a nurse practitioner I am passionate about preventive care. One of my favorite things about taking care of children is being able to get them to engage and relax during their visit. As a provider, I want to provide the type of care I?d like to receive as a parent myself. I want to be respectful and have open dialogue with my families. I want my patients and their families to know that the humanness of my approach to medicine comes across when I speak with them based on my own life experiences.
