Claire received her bachelor of science degree in nursing from Elmhurst College in Elmhurst, IL and her master of science degree in nursing, Certified Nurse Midwife, from Frontier Nursing University in Hyden, KY. She has followed a calling to midwifery because of her desires to empower women to become active participants, rather than passive members, of their personal healthcare team. Claire's professional interests are working with survivors of personal trauma and promoting women's involvement in sexual health and wellbeing. In addition to midwifery, Claire has worked as a Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery and the Intensive Care Unit. When not working Claire enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and trying out local restaurants. Claire is a member of American College of Nurse-Midwives.
