About Dr. Morgan

Caring for women, especially those in childbearing years, is what Dr. Timothy E. Morgan specializes in. “I try very hard to teach patients about their bodies so that they understand (when possible) why certain things/illnesses occur,” he says.

When Dr. Morgan was in middle school he knew he wanted to be a doctor. He earned his MD at Indiana University School of Medicine. His OB/GYN residency was completed at Saint Vincent’s Hospital and Health Care Center, Indianapolis.

As a Beacon provider, he takes the time to listen to his patients and is compassionate to the various situations they experience. While Dr. Morgan said he has learned in his years as a physician that he doesn’t know everything and that he is not in control, he does hope his patients learn about themselves from him and know that he cares about them.

In his own words…

Who is or was the most influential people/role models in your life?  My mother always believed in me and encouraged me.

What was your first job growing up? What do you remember about it?  Sweeping floors in an auto mechanics’ garage. I remember realizing that working hard can get you noticed.

What is your favorite food? Movie? What was your best/worst subjects in school growing up?  Favorite food: Steak; Favorite movie: White Christmas; Best subject in school was biology / worst was philosophy

If you could sit down to dinner with anyone (alive or deceased) who would it be and why?  I would like to have a dinner party with the authors of the Constitution to see what they think about America now.

In addition to medicine, what are you passionate about? What are your hobbies, interests?  I am passionate about my family.  I enjoy camping, hiking and reading.

What is something most people don’t know about you?  I spent all my summers growing up working the family farm in Tennessee.
