I chose to practice primary care for the opportunity to build long-lasting relationships with my patients and to provide care that can significantly impact their day-to-day lives. I am fond of the fact that I can help treat a wide array of conditions and help my patients meet personalized health goals.I help care for patients suffering from hypertension, high cholesterol, heart disease, diabetes, obesity, depression and anxiety among many other common conditions.I consider myself lucky to have grown up in northern Vermont from a family of dairy farmers and mental health providers. I pursued medicine, specifically primary care, because I thought I could make a lasting and positive impact on people's lives in this field. The most rewarding aspect of my job has been helping my patients improve their health over time and share in their success stories.Vermont is a state of tightly woven and caring rural communities. Having been encouraged and supported for so long by these communities, I am proud to provide health care to the people of this brave little state.
