Lou Gallo is one of those rare children's performers who is as beloved by children as he is by adults. His most recent CD, Walk the Dog, has garnered praise from such children's music luminaries as Laurie Berkner, and its release led to an invitation to perform "The Marathon Song" with his band at the 2011 ING New York City Marathon, to a crowd of over 45,000 runners and spectators. Earlier that same year, his song, "I'm Home", was featured in an AdCouncil TV announcement about federal foreclosure prevention programs. Meanwhile, Lou continues to delight children all over the New York area with nearly 100 yearly concerts in libraries, schools, parks, and theaters.
