Dr. Celso Acevedo is a cardiologist specializing in cardiac electrophysiology. With a career spanning over two decades, he was the first to introduce cardiac electrophysiology to the Ocala community and previously served as Director of Cardiac Electrophysiology at AdventHealth Ocala for 15 years. He earned his medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine and completed his electrophysiology fellowship at the University of Louisville. Dr. Acevedo holds certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine in Cardiac Electrophysiology and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and member of the Heart Rhythm Society. His clinical interests include device therapy for heart failure, ablative therapy for arrhythmias, and AFIB ablations. Dr. Acevedo is bilingual in English and Spanish.
