Hearts in the Right Place provides obedience and adverse behavior training to all dogs, but we specifically focus on the placement of 'rescue' dogs. What is a rescue dog? A rescue dog can be from any background, but typically is a dog or puppy that has started out its life in a shelter, abandoned, stray, or with a rescue group. A rescue dog could also be a dog that you have decided to bring into your life by adopting him or her via some other route. These dogs can enter your life with negative behaviors that exist as a result of their traumatic past. We also provide canine placement services for people who want to adopt either a specific breed or are unsure about which type of dog is the best fit for them. 1 out of every 4 shelter dogs is a purebred, so you CAN adopt your 'dream dog'!
