Dr. Aaron Cetner is an expert in cutaneous oncology, with extensive experience treating basal and squamous cell carcinoma, malignant melanoma, and other rare skin cancers. He has proudly served our Michigan region since 2011, and has performed over 20,000 Mohs surgical procedures during that time. He has been recognized several times as one of Hour Detroit Magazine’s “Top Docs,” and has served as the Associate Chief Medical Officer for Pinnacle Dermatology in Michigan since 2023. Dr. Cetner earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, Cum Laude, at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He continued at the University of Michigan for his Doctor of Medicine degree. Dr Cetner then completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Rush University in Chicago, followed by a Dermatology Residency at the University of Illinois, Chicago. He became board certified in dermatology in 2006. Dr. Cetner then completed a fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery under Dr. Ronald Siegle in Columbus, Ohio in 2009. Dr. Cetner is blessed to have three children with his wife Emily, who is a Pediatrician. He enjoys spending time with his dogs, watching Detroit sports, and downhill skiing.
