About

Dr. Roman is a board certified, fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon. He obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin, and his osteopathic medical degree from A.T Still University in Missouri. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Michigan State University and his shoulder and sports medicine fellowship at the Andrews Institute, Orthopedics and Sports Medicine.

Dr. Roman's practice is focused on primary and revision shoulder replacement, complex shoulder rotator cuff disorders, shoulder instability and overuse injuries, joint preservation and ligament reconstruction of the knee. He also treats basic fractures of the ankle, shoulder and wrist.

Dr. Roman is a member of the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, the American Association of Orthopedic Surgeons, and the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine.

When Dr. Roman is not taking care of patients, he enjoys spending time with his wife, children and the family Goldendoodle, Solvi. Both of his daughters golf competitively in high school and college, and when time away from work allows, he enjoys watching their competitions.

Dr. Roman and his family are active volunteer members of their church, until their recent move, his wife served as director of the youth ministry program. As a family they love to escape the cold weather of Wisconsin and take adventure trips canyoneering (hiking, rock climbing and repelling) in western National Parks.
