Note: Laurel Poole cares for patients ages 2 and up. Laurel Poole is a board-certified physician assistant who is committed to helping her patients look and feel their very best. She is experienced in general dermatology for adults and children, as well as skin enhancement and rejuvenation, to help patients achieve and maintain a healthy, youthful image. She grew up in a small town in Maine and received a bachelor’s degree in communication disorders from the University of New Hampshire, where she graduated summa cum laude. She received a master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Emory University in 2004 and has practiced medical and cosmetic dermatology ever since. Laurel takes great pride in providing solid dermatology expertise with an emphasis on exceptional service and patient care. She enjoys taking the time to educate her patients about their individual skin conditions and needs. Laurel is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, Illinois Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, and Illinois Academy of Physician Assistants. When she is not working, she enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, and good wine.
