Utilizing the Nursing School in a Box manual, you may build your own complete Practical Nursing School which includes: A 12 month curriculum plan, 6 complete core curriculum courses with syllabus and master course schedules for each course, teaching seminars for each class day, nursing skills learning laboratories, 130 hours of clinical simulations, a guide to all clinical experiences, a full preceptor program, and student, faculty, and director support documents. Also includes a full evaluation program for accreditation, a student handbook, a faculty handbook, and faculty and staff job descriptions. The program consists of 3 semesters to equal 1350 clock hours of classroom teaching, laboratory, simulation, and clinical experience time. Each semester includes 450 clock hours. Courses include: Anatomy and Physiology and Medical Terminology, Fundamentals of Nursing, Medical Surgical Nursing, Maternity and Newborn Care, Pediatric Nursing, and Gerontology Leadership and Community.
