From our founding in 1926 as a Methodist home for the aged to present day, Asbury Communities has dedicated itself to being a leader in aging services.
Today, Asbury is the nation’s 16th largest not-for-profit senior living organization, as ranked by 2018 LeadingAge Ziegler 200 (LZ 200). With six continuing care retirement communities, home care and home health care services, as well as a charitable Foundation, and a for-profit arm, The Asbury Group, Asbury employs approximately 2,500 associates who proudly serve more than 4,100 older adults in Maryland, Pennsylvania and Tennessee.
At a stage in life when many people begin to expect limitations, Asbury works to create opportunities. At Asbury, we don’t just ask, “Why?” We ask, “What if and why not?” We accomplish our Vision to be a national leader in redefining the expectations of aging through rigorous accreditations; strong resident, provider, and payor satisfaction; high star ratings; and the person-centered principles of Planetree.
With a focus on the future of aging services and an emphasis on technology, innovative programming, and careful stewardship of resources, we are addressing the needs of tomorrow’s seniors.
At Asbury, “Anticipate More” is not just a tagline. It’s a promise we’ve been keeping for more than 90 years.
