Before starting college, Dr. Galatro served as an enlisted sailor in the United States Navy. In completion of his service in the United States Navy, he attended Tidewater Community College in Virginia Beach, where he received an Associate's Degree in Science. He then attended Old Dominion University where he recieved a Bachelor's Degree in Biology. Dr. Galatro attended VCU/MCV School of Dentistry, in Richmond, VA and graduated in 1997. During dental school he participated in a surgical summer externship at the St. Petersburg campus. After completing dental school, Dr. Galatro moved to the Fredericksburg area in 1997 where he started to practice Dentistry.
