Becky Pawley Downey, is a Certified & Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified & Licensed Professional Counselor Teacher, and Marriage and Family Therapist focusing in adult, adolescent, marriage, and family therapy, and maintain a private practice at Advocate Christian Counseling in Frisco and the Dallas metroplex.
While I am professionally trained, my counseling philosophy is deeply founded in Biblical & Spiritual principles, the centrality of Christ, and dependence upon God's Holy Spirit. Becky has a Master of Arts degree from Amberton University in Counseling with emphasis on Marriage and Family.

Becky has been practicing as a Licensed Professional Counselor and Marriage and Family Therapist since 1996. Prior to her work in counseling, Becky worked as a lay counselor for over 10 years in her church and volunteered for 7 years at a psychiatric local treatment center for abused children.
For the past 20 years Becky has felt very privileged to have made at least 23 mission trips to over 12 foreign countries in several roles including speaking at many women's conferences.
Becky considers it a great honor and joy for one of her clients to open his/her heart and life to her and to allow her, along with God, to share in their healing journey.
