After seven years of taking care of very ill patients in the hospital, I noticed many gaps and barriers to care. I decided to become a nurse practitioner in primary
care to help address these needs by focusing on health promotion and disease prevention with a goal of keeping my patients happy, healthy, and home. My philosophy of care is to
prevent what we can and treat what we can’t. I am passionate about healthy living, health promotion and disease prevention. But, when illness and disease cannot be avoided, I will partner with you to create a treatment plan that incorporates evidence-based care as well as your individual values and goals. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my
husband, two children, and two dogs. I love traveling (especially on cruises) and listening to fantasy.
