Welcome David E. Tepel DMD, a general dentist practicing all aspects of family, cosmetic, and general dentistry. By using latest technologies and techniques, Dr. Tepel, a graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, strives to keep all patients comfortable and confident. Dr. Tepel is the Director of the Oral Health Program in the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (NYC DOHMH). In this capacity he provides guidance on clinical matters related to dental public health planning, education promotion, and policy initiatives. He works closely with the NYC Department of Education on school-based dental programs for NYC public schools. He has co-authored numerous abstracts presented at major public health conferences.
