Chris Perea joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in October 2025, following a 4-year career in the United States Marine Corps, where he attained the rank of Captain. Chris understands the challenges and opportunities associated with life in the military and is committed to helping service members and their families get their financial lives squared away.
Chris has a bachelor's degree in history from Kennesaw State University and a master's degree in business administration from California State University, San Bernardino. He holds Series 6, 63, and 65 securities licenses plus life and health insurance licenses in California.
Chris serves as a personal financial coach to clients, continually reinforcing positive financial behaviors. He is committed to coaching clients to pursue their financial goals and lifetime dreams by bringing sound financial knowledge and trustworthy advice to a lasting relationship with each individual and family he serves.
Active in his community, Chris volunteers with Trail Life USA as a Woodlands Trail Ranger, as well as with Level Up Sports as Head Coach for youth soccer.
In his free time, Chris enjoys spending time with family, reading, and watching football.
