Loreen Williams, DNP, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner at Emerge Medica, a premier anti-aging and wellness center in Glastonbury, Connecticut. She specializes in aesthetic medicine and platelet rich plasma (PRP) vampire therapies, which she learned from the inventor of the groundbreaking therapies, Dr. Charles Runels.
Loreen earned her nurse practitioner degree as a top five graduate from Saint Francis Hospital School of Nursing in Hartford, Connecticut, before moving on to the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy in Newington to become a massage therapist in 2004. She decided to change her career focus and returned to school in 2008 to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing with honors from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut, followed by her Doctor of Nursing Practice / Family Nurse Practitioner degree from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst.
Loreen is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and previously maintained a critical care nurse (CCRN®) certification by the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses. Loreen is an active member of the Cellular Medicine Association, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the American Nurses Association, and the Connecticut Nurses Association.
