Dr. William Estes is an experienced orthopedic surgeon in the Charleston area with a passion for helping patients recover from musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. With a background in athletics, he has a special interest in sports medicine. He earned his medical degree from the University of Iowa and completed a sports medicine fellowship at the Hughston Clinic in Columbus, Georgia. Dr. Estes practiced orthopedics in Iowa for three years before returning to Charleston in 2005.
