Spencer Shellberg earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Northern Arizona University and finds deep fulfillment in helping patients recover from musculoskeletal injuries, particularly post-surgical rehabilitation and sports-related injuries. He is passionate about guiding individuals through the healing process—restoring strength, mobility, and confidence so they can return to the activities they love, whether that’s hiking, playing sports, or simply moving through daily life pain-free.
"I believe in a patient-centered approach where collaboration, education, and empowerment are key. Every patient is unique, and my goal is to create individualized treatment plans that address their specific needs while fostering long-term healing. My philosophy is to treat the body as a whole and provide support that not only improves physical function but enhances the overall well-being of the person."
With a hands-on, evidence-based approach, Spencer designs individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique goals. He places a strong emphasis on education, ensuring that every patient understands the “why” behind their therapy—empowering them to take an active role in their recovery and long-term health.
Spencer practices what he preaches. He stays active by trail running, mountain biking, skiing, ice climbing and river surfing. He enjoys spending time with his partner and their rescue pup, Koda.
