About Deane Jewett Before he could even drive a car, Deane Jewett was a great auto mechanic. In fact, that’s how he paid the bills for more than 15 years. But one day, when he and his wife decided it was time to start a family, they reached another decision. “We decided it was also time for me to look for a career change, look to do something a little different,” Deane recalls. “That brought me to an interview with Globe Life Liberty National Division.” Deane’s first two years at Liberty brought a series of rapid-fire promotions for the Charleston, South Carolina native. Starting as an Agent, he quickly progressed to Agency Director, then Agency Owner, again, all in less than two years.
