American Language Academy (ALA) is a nationally accredited Intensive English Language program located in beautiful and friendly Greensboro, North Carolina.

Our English for Academic Purpose curriculum was specially designed by famous linguistic experts and we offer 7 levels of proficiency from Intro to Advance levels. Students attend small interactive classes Monday to Friday for a total of 22 hours per week. We have 5 sessions each year. All of our instructors are native speakers that are highly qualified in TESOL and have experience teaching adult ESL.

Our campus facilities have modern classrooms, a computer lab and free wireless internet that are designed to serve our students’ learning needs. We offer cultural activities, field trips, and social events to extend learning beyond the classroom.

When students enroll they can receive Conditional Letters of Admission to ALA partner universities granting acceptance with NO TOEFL test. We provide full student services, including I-20 visa and free counseling for students help them select the right college/university major program.

Our tuition and fees are very affordable and we offer qualifying students discounts.
We also offer General English, GRE Prep, TOEFL Prep and Teacher Training classes. Private tutoring available.
