Dr. Blanks received his medical degree from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn. He was a fellow in cardiology at the Bowman Gray School of Medicine at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, N.C. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
