Dr. Katie is board certified in pediatrics and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). Dr. Katie received her bachelor of science degree from St. Mary's College in Notre Dame, Indiana, and her medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine. Following the completion of her pediatric residency, Dr. Katie served as Chief Resident at Riley Hospital for Children. As a pediatrician, Dr. Katie enjoys treating children of all ages, but has special interests in the treatment of asthma, obesity education and adolescent care. In addition, she also enjoys newborn care and infant nutrition. Dr. Katie enjoys "do-it-yourself" projects, working in her yard, going to the zoo and spending time with her family.
