David’s Gallery has been a fixture in Gulf Shores, Alabama since 1969. In the era of “peace, love and rock-and-roll,” David’s Gallery opened as not only a shop offering all of funky accessories of the day, but as a hub where flower children mingled and the music of legends like John Lennon and Jimi Hendrix permeated the space. More than four decades later, David’s Gallery is still going strong with the same ambiance of a time gone by. A wall of fame greets you as you enter the shop where thousands of photographs encapsulate the essence of three generations of customers. Downstairs showcases incense, posters, tapestries, stickers, smoking accessories, tattoo/piercing rooms and jewelry diversified from hemp to sterling silver. And you don’t want to miss the upstairs where you will find funky, bohemian chic clothing, T-shirts and body jewelry. Many products are made by local artists and are environmentally friendly.
