Melissa Mele-Delgado is a Buffalo native who received her Adult Health Nurse Practitioner degree from Daemen College.
Melissa went on to advance her education by completing the Doctor of Nursing Practice degree as one of the first cohorts in the Western New York region. Her doctoral research in the field of dermatology, specifically psoriasis, led her to focus on autoimmune skin conditions. She also enjoys all aspects of dermatology including the aesthetic component, and was trained by a reputable plastic surgeon in dermal fillers and neurotoxins. Melissa is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society and is an outdoor enthusiast in her free time which she spends with her husband and children.
