"Dr. Nissen is a board certified orthopedic surgeon with a certificate of added qualification in Orthopedic Sports Medicine. Dr. Nissen completed his undergraduate training at Princeton University and attended medical school at the University of Connecticut. His postgraduate training was in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Connecticut. His sports medicine fellowship was completed at Cincinnati Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Center under Dr. Frank Noyes."
