Sheri Bangura joined the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin in 2021, bringing with her 16 years of insurance company experience, a desire to help others, and a belief that one must be both tenacious and flexible in life. She recognizes the importance of being true to oneself and “maintaining your path” while encountering the curves, dips, and valleys that life presents. And she applies this philosophy to both her personal life and her professional life.
Jim first moved to Durham to attend Duke Law School. After graduating with honors, he left North Carolina to start his law career on the West Coast. After a few years, he returned to the Bull City looking for a legal path with more meaning, and within two years he started the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin.
Stan Abrams joined the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin in 2012 to lead the firm’s eminent domain practice.
Cristen Bartus joined the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin in 2012 as a personal injury attorney. She is a Partner at the firm and leads the settlement administration team which liaises with health insurance providers and oversees the distribution of settlements.
