WTR helps to train techniques and tactics so people have the mindset to become victorious during any encounter. Starting July 1st, 2016, permitless concealed carry will be legal in Idaho. Under this law, any Idaho resident 21 years old or older who would not be disqualified from obtaining a concealed carry permit can legally carry a concealed weapon in Idaho without a concealed carry permit. Gov. Otter wrote a letter to the President of the Senate expressing his support of the law, but also highly recommending that everyone who carries a weapon attend weapons training. The instructors at WTR highly support this law, but agree with Gov. Otter that training is very important. We highly encourage anyone who carries attend a training course that covers concealed weapons and use of force law, gun safety, and the fundamentals of shooting.
