In late 2002, Dr. Gary Wedlake began a quest to form a custom PVC compounding business with the goal of satisfying customer demand for smaller quantity orders. At the same time, he found that many smaller consumers were not entirely satisfied with the level of technical support offered by the larger compound suppliers.
