In 1951 he moved his business to the southern half of the present location of Art's for Him and Her Too. At this time he added ladies ready-to-wear clothing to his product mix. Art continued to expand his selection through the fifties and remodeled the store in 1961. Sensing the need to furthur expand his store he added 700 square feet to his operation.
In 1980 Art's son Tom entered the business full-time assuming the duties of manager/buyer etc...and since then has added his own personal touch and style to the store
In 1993 Art's underwent another expansion when the attached tobacco store (Eberhardt's) was purchased. This added another 900 square feet to the store.
