Dr. Tapryal is a licensed medical doctor with over 30 years of experience as a family practitioner. 

He moved to Hawaii in 1999 from Canada and has since dedicated his career to the pursuit of a more integrative approach in his practice of medicine. 

Through his years of practice of conventional medicine in Canada, he began to notice some of the flaws and weaknesses of the western medical system, which often relies heavily upon the use of pharmaceutical drugs.

Thanks to his own personal study and research he has gained a thorough and unique understanding of integrative medicine. With that understanding, he is able to offer his patients a "whole person" perspective, which is often missing in today's over-stressed health care system.

He makes use of both conventional and alternative therapies and is committed only to a "get the patient better" philosophy.  

One of the goals of his treatment is to minimize the use of drugs whenever possible and treat the root cause of the condition as opposed to just the symptoms. Being a fully licensed medical doctor, however, he is able to prescribe and administer conventional drugs when necessary.

He is a passionate and committed doctor who also helps patients in modifying lifestyles in order to prevent illness and not just treat it.
