Orthopaedic surgeon Anthony S. Melillo, MD, is the founder of Bay Oaks Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, located in Houston, Texas since 2000. He is one of several surgeons in the Clear Lake area performing MAKO robotic surgery for partial knee resurfacing, total knee and total hip replacements. He offers expertise in total joint replacement of the hip, knee, and shoulder; sports medicine and, arthroscopic surgery of the knee and shoulder; trauma and fracture care; industrial injuries and general orthopedic conditions.

Dr. Melillo earned his Bachelor of Science in biology at New Mexico State University, and attended medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. He has trained at the Naval Medical Center San Diego, Massachusetts General Hospital, and Mississippi Sports Medicine.
He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.
