After completing his medical degree in 1990, Hassan A Javanshir, MD, went on to complete his Internal Medicine internship at Staten Island University Hospital in New York in 1997, followed by two residencies in Neurology - one at the University of Chicago in 1999 and the other at the University of Texas at Houston in 2001. He also completed a Neurophysiology fellowship at Tulane University in 2003. Dr. Javanshir joined Kelsey-Seybold's Neurology department in January 2024. He sees patients to treat and manage a variety of diseases and conditions of the nervous system, including dementia and Alzheimer's disease, palsies, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, stroke, Parkinson's disease, and cerebrovascular disease.
